Hi All.

I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some advise. I need to write my JAA ATPL subjects, and possibly do some training towards a JAA CPL. I currently am employed in the aviation industry. I Hold a current ICAO ATPL, with about 3000hrs, mostly on turbo props. I am looking at completing the subjects as soon as possible. Since i already hold an ATPL, from what i understand I do not have to sit a ground school, does anyone know if this is correct? From personal experience, does anyone recommend any schools?
Thanks in advance.

CATS @ Cranfield have a superb ground school.
They have online study guides, Rich Media explanations, Online key facts and offer distance learning (£999) as well as In-house.
They also have the option of doing "Add-Ons" to supplement any current ATPL study you are doing now at £99. (See the Ads currently running on PPruNe)

CATS Global Landing Page (http://www.cranfieldaviation.com/)

I recommend that you speak with Stuart at CATS and he will be able to guide you in the right direction for the Ground School.

In terms of any flight training required then they are also linked with PFT (Professional Flight Training) in Bournemouth. If you spoke to Mike there he will also be able to assist.
