I had contacted some TRTOs back in July and August to gather some information but as the credit crunch started to become more apparent I put the idea to rest. I have now been contacted by several TRTOs in the past two weeks asking me have I given the type any more consideration. Some offering a discount and others dropping a sim assessment. Is this a sign of desperate times for TRTOs with the current economic climate ?

According to Alex from bristol.gs, training is unaffected.

I'm very chocked because this could end very bad for most of the newly graduates.:uhoh:

Be fair, I said modular ATPL training was unaffected. I didn't say anything about the bookings on integrated courses or TRTOs. When you start modular training you are two to three years away from a job, on average. When you start on a TRTO course you'll be looking for one in a couple of months, they're bound to be affected more.
