A330-300hgw

Hello,
MyTravel operates with A330-300 as all (hopefully)of you know...
The new A330-300 has a MTOW of 233T. But i read somewere that MYT 333
''only'' have 230T MTOW.
Anyone here who knows wich of them is true?
And at wich TIME did they shift from 230 to 233?

Hello Robini,

First of all I will tell you that My Travel Airways does not exist anymore - it has changed its name (08May2008) to THOMAS COOK AIRLINES SCANDINAVIA.

Check the following link and you will get to their website, where you will see that the max. takeoff weight of their A330 aircraft is 230 T.

If you check the following link from AIRBUS.COM you will see that you may buy the A330 with 230 or 233 T as max. takeoff weight - obviously some airlines require the extra 3 T.

And the Skandi ones started at 233 tonne aeroplanes and then were downgraded to 230t - check the placard on the centre console :E
