Strange situation this afternoon when flying. My Zaon was showing a conflict at 0.4 mile and 100 ft below and this was unchanging. despite much weaving and steep turns nothing visible anywhere. Realised in the end it would have had to be maintaining close formation and as otherwise I seemed to be the only aircraft within 30 miles decided it was a spurious indication. Now I have read on Zaon's website that they can pick up one's own transponder if the aerial is dirty. As this only lasted for a few minutes I wondered if it was a reflection caused by the large windfarm I was passing , especially as it recurred at the same spot on return leg. Anyone had this happen?
