Flying in Tenerife?

Hi, I have accomodation in Tenerife and have my PPL so was thinking of going out there and doing some hour building to take advantage of the better weather.

I tried a search but the results were kinda thin so I'm wondering if anyone has much experience in the area?

Are there many flying clubs on the island? I've found a website for one but it was spanish and I'm no spanish speaker. Which leads me onto another point: what are the ATC facilities like over there? Do they speak English or largely Spanish?

And what are the fuel prices like over there? Must be cheaper than here anyway!
