Hi,
Any keen enthusiasts out there who could help me indentify "UAE201" on Friday 26Sept08. Routed west on UR8 to Dawly (at 1230UTC) then turned south through BHD above us.

It was A380 A6-EDA :ok:

Thanks for the info eijib. Strange that the callsign is used for DXB/JFK flight but it went south from BHD.

Almost certainly ! I came out of AMS heading for MEX on Saturday, and our routing was similarily unusual, instead of the usual Ireland / Iceland / Greenland / Eastern seaboard route it was London, Bristol channel, then across the Northern USA, past Chicago, over Canada, and a LONG way West, before turning South overflying Dallas.

made a nice change.
