Has anyone flown in and around Turkey as a PPL, what airports are available.
Are their any maintenance organisations looking after GA aircraft?

I seem to recall there aren't many GA planes for hire. There used to be a 172 for hire at Dalaman, but you had to have a safety pilot (unless you spoke Turkish).

I know it's an old topic, but it showed up in my search.

I'll be in Dalaman next week for holiday (may 14th-20th 2016). I Have a PPL and I would love to rent a GA plane for a local sightseeing flight (probably with instructor/safety pilot).

any info would be appreciated.

Try Isparda. About an hour away by GA plane.

I appreciate you are off tomorrow, if not too late would suggest you contact the chaps at Hezarfen, Istanbul and ask them for some help. Am sure they would do all they can to help for you to get in the air at Dalaman.

Anyway that`s the best place in Turkey for the PPL.
