Easyjet flight is diverted by fog
Easyjet plane
The plane went on to land at Exeter airport

An Easyjet flight bound for Bristol was diverted because of fog and poor visibility.

A spokesman at Bristol International Airport said the plane, which took off from Newcastle on Thursday night, had to land at Exeter.

An Easyjet spokesperson said flight EZY573 was diverted before it approached Bristol and no attempt was made to land there.

Passengers were coached back to Bristol from Exeter.

Yes. But, luckily, by diverting they narrowly missed the hospital full of orphans, etc., etc., etc.
