Over the past week I have noted an ATR 42 flying overhead on finals at PLYMOUTH. Is this subsituting for ASW or is a charter?

The Exeter based G-DRFC often subs for ASW when required.

Thanks for this info!
I saw it yesterday near East Budleigh, obviously returning to Exeter.
Glad my old aircraft recognition skills are still working!!

Skyblue Airways operate it, I believe.

Yep Skyblue Aviation - they've split off from the Atlantic Airways/Air Atlantic group at CVT - hence the aircraft is still in Atlantic Express colours. They're filling the ACMI turboprop charter market as there's been a large gap since Titan Airways got rid of their ATR. They'll do quite well I think!!. Nice bunch of people too.
