So I decide to go and see mother for the first time in 3 years, which is my first holiday for two years, and Swissport workers decide to throw a strike on 27 Aug at MAN. Typically I booked with Monarch who are one of the handling agents.
Now I am the brunt of effective year on year pay cuts with the now regular below inflation rises, but it is the way things are. I am bloody annoyed that the unions can't see this.
Anyway, this is what I plan to do.
Flight is at 0755
Book in online - thus avoiding check in
I've booked two suitcases, and I presume these will have to follow me? Put the destination adddress clearly on the outside.
cram most of our stuff into cabin baggage so at least we'll have something to wear.
Anything I've missed?
