2 Questions as above. I would like to impress in an interview by giving a good answer to these questions. Seeing as I am a wannabe I wouldn't know the specifics... Any help/ideas out there?

As indicated by your previous posts, you work at EMA airside. Why not try asking one of the First Officers on one of the aircraft that you cater?

I think you would get a much better and more complete answer than in this wannabee forum.

Read the "so you want to be a pilot" brochure produced by RAeS / GAPAN, and the copious information on their websites.

My view on your first question is that you are the 2nd in command and the commander in waiting. Clearly should the captain become incapacitated then you are the commander and call the shots.

The amount that you participate in the running of the operation on a day to day basis will depend on:-

- the captain
- your ability
- your enthusiasm to pull finger and help out
- what your company SOP's dictate
