Would be most appreciative of A330 rosters. Locblue gave a superb indication of life in Singapore, pay, and B777 rosters. Something like that about the A330 would be great..Is it true that it is a more regional type with the 777 being more long-haul.
Thanks

I didn't think they were getting any A330's until next year so it would be highly unlikely that there will be any A330 rosters out yet. They are probably still deciding which destinations they will fly to.

The A330-343's will be used on a combination of short to medium haul routes.

The A330's are effectively the replacement for the previous A310 fleet.

As the A330's will be leased I do not expect the aircraft to be fitted with all the SQ mod cons. Accordingly the aircraft will not venture too far from SIN.

I expect the aircraft to operate to the following ports from SIN:

Shorthaul - Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Bandar Seri Begawan, Denpasar.

Medium Haul - Hong Kong, Taipei, Manila, Hanoi and possibly a port or two in China.

A total of 19 x A330-300's are expected.

The A340-300's are long gone. The entire fleet including aircraft not yet delivered by Airbus were accepted by Boeing in a complex deal.

The 5 x A340-500's are being reconfigured to just 100 Business Class in an endeavour to improve the operational and financial performance.

Just to second ULH Extreme, you B772 grossly misleed the reading public. You are Airbus hater and you wish 330 to fly shorthaul ,but it's not the case and to use your own words you are flop and please get lost.
A330 is going to be with even better business class than the last version/345/. Too many seats to fly in the neighborhood. OZ and Japan flights. It looks like, that this fleet is going to be the best one, operationswise.
Good luck to all prospective candidates. :ok:

I do believe the A330 is optimized for flights between 5 and 8 hrs. It was posted once by Airbus and in fact i do believe in that theatre of operations it is the cheapest or rather the most cost effective AC.

Knowing SIA that would be where the AC would be flying to..ie OZ, Japan, China and the middle east.

ADL, BNE, PER in AUS, AMD, HYD, ATQ and perhaps some other Indian stations. Some of the thinner Japanese and Chinese routes like NGO and NKG.

Quite a good route structure although I think the 777 will still have the best mix of routes
