Your kind help is greatly appreciated in decoding the last section of this load report.


MAX/MIN 1 TO 3 SEC INTERVALS
VRTA LONA LATA
S3 0135 0008 N000
S4 0076 N006 N011

What does LONA and LATA stand for?...and does S3 and S4 mean stations 3 and for , and if so, where is the location of these stations relative to the aircraft?
Is there any link or location where one can consult a manual to translate the PFR or load report?..i suspect that the answer lies somewhere in the aircraft's maintenance manuals but i am not sure

The answer is in the AMM in easily read, easily understood format :ugh:

The three columns are Vertical Acceleration, Longtitudinal Acceleration and Lateral Acceleration.

If memory serves, probably not, S3 S4 etc are the times between measurements although I might have this wrong, it's over a year since I analysed one of these things.

If I am not mistaken ?

S3 is the G force or load factor on landing.
In this case the landing "g" was 1.35
fOR ExampleI got lucky today and had a smooth landing at S3 109 or
You can use it to see how hard or smooth your landings are
After S3 0145 OR 1.45G the landings are rather hard with perhaps a remark or comment from the flight attendants

Anyone know how hard a g or load factor you need for a mandatory inspection above S3 0160 or 1.6g.
I believe the load report report will print automatically ?

I believe the g value for a mandatory inspection was mentioned in another post is 2.6 which seems rather excessive to me...it should correspond to 600 fpm at touchdown, and the post flight report will contain an event message......just hope i will never have to check it actually :ouch:
Needless to say, i stand to be corrected on all of the above

Yes as mencioned here before 2.6g is the limit but it also depends on another value RALR - radio altitude rate, maximum 10 ft/sec
If landing is overweight, that values decreases to 1.7g and 6ft/sec.

S3 - highest recorded value
S4 - lowest recorded value

exactly stand for?
