Like the most of us (I expect), I get swarms of mail from companies and individuals that are trying to sell me stuff or feed me with resource information.
These mails are invariably constructed in HTML and furnish me with oodles of different links and URL's to the relevant product details in the adverts, or information in the headlines.
The vast majority of them arrive in my mailbox (Outlook, Office Ultimate 2007) as glowing HTML front pages. Dozens and dozens of them - most of which are genuine subscriptions (though I sometimes wonder why when Disney send me two ads a day to buy childrens clothes with The Mouse embroidered on them).
The Disney sales site arrives as HTML yet the Disney "Newspaper" information and stories page arrives in plain text - though until recently it arrived in HTML.
AOPA USA arrives in plain text, though until recently it arrived in workable HTML - and my on line profile with them is still set to receive mail in HTML.
These two sites (at least) are switching the inbound mail to Plain Text - but the others keep it in HTML - all under the same security settings (whatever they are).
Any thoughts as to why - or, more importantly, how to switch them back?
On the pages that do arrive in plain text there doesn't appear to be an option to click in the toolbars that says "View in HTML" or "View as web page" - but on the pages that arrive correctly in HTML there is.
