Brantly B2 engine stops during LPC practice engine failure, skids dig into soft ground during following EOL - here. (http://www.aaib.dft.gov.uk/sites/aaib/publications/bulletins/august_2008/brantly_b_2__n376sa.cfm) (Not casting aspersions here - was this anything to do with the brief 'Brantly at Norwich' operation? It did happen near Bungay in Norfolk.)

H300 lands near building work, big empty cement bag sucked into disk - here. (http://www.aaib.dft.gov.uk/sites/aaib/publications/bulletins/august_2008/schweizer_269c_schweizer_300__g_wark.cfm) The report mentions that the bag held 1 cubic metre 'or one tonne of material' - yeah right, if it was water. Cement is somewhat more dense.

Schwiezer 333 MRGB seizes up, thankfully after landing, maintenance issue - here. (http://www.aaib.dft.gov.uk/sites/aaib/publications/bulletins/august_2008/schweizer_269d_configuration_a__schweizer_333___g_tama.cfm)

I hate seeing aircraft getting damaged, but I like seeing the crew live through it.

Hi Hilico,

Thanks for these (not it's not the same B2 but the TRE lives in Norfolk) but can you edit the links please as http:// etc has been duplicated.

Cheers

Thanks everyone who pointed that out - it will teach me to sit up until midnight waiting for the latest link to appear. (It's not as if don't understand the reason for CAP371...)

The report mentions that the bag held 1 cubic metre 'or one tonne of material' - yeah right, if it was water. Cement is somewhat more dense. They are only rated at 1000kg, though. Jewsons etc. don't sell 40mm aggregate in 1800 kg bags.
