question:1
Above 80 Kt the doors are mechanicaly locked. Is the door handle that is locked or the door frame is?
question 2
In case of loss of the air data compiuters who tells the doors such speed value?
question 3
Why in most of the CX (B777) flight I have traveled recently the 9 volts battery that arm the pneumatic emergency opening system (doors) was not showing its charge by pushing the push button test light?
question 4
In the case of the opening of an "armed" door the pressure equalizing vents would have time to open before the pneumatic emergency opening system would activate?
thanks

I'll try for the first one

1) The handle it'self locks. You cannot rotate the handle to the open position above 80+ kts. It does open the vent panels however.

If no signal the doors will be unlocked. They are a MEL item

There are two standards of batteries in the doors. One shines a light when you press the test button, the other kind flashes red all the time. The flashing red ones are quite new and the crews were snagging them when they were first installed, no-one told them.
