I'm running Office 2000 professional and stupidly downloaded microsoft's service pack assuming it would improve things.
Amongst the updates is one for email security which once installed checks all attachments arriving in Outlook and grades them by type. It then refuses to allow any Level 1 items (ie .exe files) to be opened. The settings for this update cannot be changed and despite scouring the web (both Microsoft and some more dubious sites) cannot find any info on how to uninstall this update as I now cannot open any of the daft/funny/obscene attachments I seem to get sent regularly.
It looks like reinstalling Outlook is going to be the only option - ARSE! Anyone out there got any ideas???
