Does anyone have a reference for converting military rotary-wing flight time to civilian flight time? It's my understanding that civilians log rotary-wing time differently than military.

There is an agreement between MoD and the CAA. For RN detail is hidden in FLAGOs somewhere, not sure about RAF or AAC.

Yes - try the FAA if you are in the USA, and ignore LASORS.

The FAA accepted all my British Mil rotary time that was in my logbook as it was written when I did the FAA CPL H.

The average is when we fly for the Queen, we log take off/landing times (usually rounded to the nearest 5 minutes).

Flying civvy now, we log block times which (on average) add about 10 minutes or so either end for taxying.

If you fly 8 hour sectors then it's not very significant. If you fly 40 minute sectors then it's significant.

Dare I say, commonsense rules?
