Hi All,

I would love to get into a Flight Dispatcher/Operations Controller role can
anyone advise on average salaries for these roles and the best places to
look for job opportunities?

Many thanks

For the Dispatcher work in the USA, the ''average'' pay is $24,000 p/a to start and it takes about 20 years to get to $100,000 !!!
In the USA right now, there aren't that many ''entry level'' positions now and unless you've lost your medical etc.. I wouldn't advice you to pursure this career... (just my thouhgt on pay and work hours of avg. 10 hrs p/d)

But good luck in you future!!
Lovesickguy.

Hi Lovesickguy,

Thanks for that I forgot to mention that I am in the UK. Why don't you recommend this avenue? I was given to understand that a Flight Dispatch job in America was quite rewarding.

a Flight Dispatch job in America 'was' quite rewarding.

I think lovesickguy has clearly stated what was is no longer what is..

sorry about the delay.. but as my other learned firend states; "it's not what it used to be''... however, not sure if the UK would be better ?? probably I'm guessing...??
Please write to my friend Danny at AGS flt. dispatcher's course in the USA. write to: [email protected] he'll help guide you.
Good luck!!! LSG...
