I have passed the ATPL theory exams.
Since I didn't have to sit through groundschool because of my experience, the CAA requires me to perform the skill test on a type of aircraft I allready have on my FAA ATP.

Can somebody help me out and let me know of an MD80 series sim in Europe that can also provide a JAA examiner for that skill test?

Thank you

Try Oxford Aviation Academy, they bought SAS's training facilities in Sweden. I'm pretty sure they have an MD-80 sim, local TRE's (check airmen) and JAA approval.

:ok:

I already send an email to Oxford, waiting for their response.

I got negative responses from two places so far
Scandinavian Aviation Academy and
Swiss Aviation training
They both want me to go through the full type rating training before they let me use the sim or provide an examiner. I guess 7000 on type doesn't mean anything to some.

Hopefully Oxford will be more reasonable, otherwise I am not sure what to do
