Ladies and Gents,

Got a brief comining up in the next couple of days, and could do with a bit of unclassified info that Im not in a position to gather.... If you could help it would be great!

1 Rough purchase cost for Merlin vs Augusta?

2 Rough cost per hour of flight..

3 Radius of Action (looking at it as a potential future SAR cab)

4 Number of Civilian Engineers on each propose base.

5 Number of Civilian crews on each base.

6 Current cost of SAR Cab per hour.

7 VMAX of Merlin

If you can help with any info above, great. Even better if people could PM me with any details of where to find the information so I can quote a certain resource would be great....:{

IRRC, the requirement for the Portuguese SAR variant was a transit to and from the Canaries with an hour on station (think it used a Bob tank to do it though).

If anyone can give you the correct answers to those questions, I suggest you write them out nicely, send them to someone appropriate in Bristol, and become the fourth SAR-H bidder again in place of...?????? Oh yes wasn't it AWL?:ugh::}
