Reverser Unlock ?
Amber indication maybe. Mr Boeing would have you believe to get a reverser to actually unlock is impossibel. It would certainly slam the throttle shut if it did.Ouch broken thumb!:(

It was my understanding that a reverser unlock annunciation was just one barrier of three against reverser delployment and certainly possible. I also understood that the throttles are not hardwired to be moved in this event.

However should the reverser actually translate then a signal is sent to the engine FADEC to reduce to idle. Since this takes more time than you can tollerate at critical flight regimes the crew is advised to manually retard the throttle should a reverser unlock light come on.

I would be happy to be updated by people current in this.

RR powered aircraft not PW lomapaseo, should be impossible to deploy due sync-lock, 3rd line of defence.
