Whilst on holiday in Greece recently, an ex-pat said that he had heard rumours that when a greek airfield is shared between civilian and military flights, then the number of civilian flights was strictly restricted to 19 per week. If an increase in civilian flights to over that number was wanted then the airfield had first to be demiliatarised. Can this be true? There are always complaints about the lack of availability of flights to various parts of Greece.
