How much of the PPL sylabus does the ATPL say at bristol ground school cover ?
I ask as having passed the PPL exams I still feel i've got alot to learn still of the basics !

haha, don't worry, you'll have enough to learn during ATPL groundschool, at a little bit more than PPL basics level ;)
I know they are alot more involved what I mean is will also cover the basics at first ?

Most likely yes, since the course is designed for all including those whose PPL is ICAO.
The stuff you learn at PPL is the really useful stuff though so it would help if you have that really nailed.
