KIS Cruiser crashed shortly after takeoff from Upfield at approximatly 11:40 this morning according to news reports. En-route to Filton.
Luckily both occupants suffered only minor injuries not requiring Hospital treatment. :ok:
Same cannot be said for aircraft that caught fire. :(
Don't know the Reg, although I have seen the aircraft there a few weeks ago

It was a miraculous escape as the aircraft came down tail first and slid to a stop. Gull wing doors were fitted so had it flipped over, escape would have been difficult. Seemed to be the result of a go-around.
Tragic loss to a beautiful aircraft, G-BYZD flew across the atlantic to the US and back just after it was built and was quite famous as the only example in the UK.
