Browsing through the EASA FCL NPA I came accross the following statement in the IR section:

FCL.605 IR Privileges
(a) The privileges of a holder of an IR are to fly aircraft under IFR with a minimum decision height of
200 feet (60 m).

With no further references to lower DHs later on, I wonder how EASA envisage pilots will fly CAT II and III approaches?

Is anyone the wiser?

Well you could look done to paragraph (b) to find out:

(b) In the case of a multiengine IR, these privileges may be extended to decision heights lower than 200 feet (60 m) when the applicant has undergone specific training at an approved training organisation and has passed section 6 of the skill test prescribed in Appendix 9 to this Part in multipilot aircraft.
