This month’s calendar is from the Polizeifliegerstaffel NRW, courtesy of Flying Bull.
It is of an EC 135 of the Police Brandenburg (Germany) during a work visit in Nordrhein Westfalen (Germany). In loose formation with the local police helicopter - from which the photos were taken through coloured Perspex. The Call 122.80 is a sticker, only used during the time of temporarily established restricted zones - which are controlled by the police. In case of violation the helicopter will close the intruder and try to establish comms on 122.80. Restricted zones were/are used during soccer world championship, G8 summit, EM (soccer) and stuff like that.

As always, for Windows users click on the thumbnail to open a higher resolution full picture, and then right click to select “Set as Background”. Mac users should select the background via System Preferences.
ps I'm on hols, touring Europe for a while, so any queries about the photo, please address them to Flying Bull. Thanks :ok:
