This is a recorded exchange between 911 and a pilot of a crashed heli who were trying to talk the rescue chopper to the crash site.
It took place in 2006.
Its a reminder of how difficult it is to cordinate an aircraft to a site under these circumstances

When the rescue heli was overhead but still unable to see the site the crashed pilot seems to say to operator
"My tail number ends in a 7":sad:
