Does anyone know why DCL, which operated STN - NOC on 15/06/08, was in Boeing livery with non-standard Ryanair tail decals. In the cabin interior 'normality' was restored with the usual garish yellow interior - almost bright enough for the Reactolites to react!

That aircraft has been flying around like that since it was delivered to FR. Its more of a logojet advertisement for boeing and FR are happy to have had the free paint job!

All the previous replies are correct, but leave out one essntial detail. Given the fact that EI-DCL held a full US registration for a short time, it's highly likely that it was used for demo/promo purposes by the manufacturer. In that case, it would have been offered to FR at a discount, and as part of a batch. This is a common practise employed by manufacturers, and as we all know FR are never ones to turn away a bargain!
