Question: Does the AirScooter auto-rotate?

Answer: The AirScooter is designed for the recreational sport flyer and as such does not auto-rotate. The AirScooter is designed for recreational flying at low altitude where even traditional helicopters have little benefit from auto-rotation. Design efforts have been done on a ballistic emergency chute for the AirScooter.

OK so I wonder what altitude would you operate for the chute to be of benefit?

Withe way many Scooter drivers act now on our roads in GB, can you imagine a road with these things on, good concept possible for the next James Bond film, or Delta Force attacking the Iran capital over the swampy area, but sadly this looks like a "Flower Power wet dream"...
But I think it may by fun, till the first accident when it chops some thing or some one!

Aside from no collective control (reason for no autorotation), how do you control the thing at all?
Looks rather large for a weight shift method of control.
And how do you yaw the thing? If you lifted off with a tail wind, I imagine you'd be in for a very interesting ride...
