Hi everyone,

I am make up my mind to become pilot which I know I need to be start at basic-PPL. I am looking for JAA PPL course around in Europe with reasonable prices. Could anyone kindly give me some advice about Training school etc etc.

HELLO THERE,
IM IN A SMILLAR SITUATION AS YOURS.
AFTER SPENDING LOADS OF HOURS ON THE NET, IM REALLY CONFUSED WHERE TO GO.
I KNOW THAT THE AMERICAN SYYSTEM IS FASTER, EASIER AND CHEAPER.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY INFOS ON jar atpl COURCES.

you 2 need to do more reading. On here and other sites.

GSIS, if you are located in the EU, you will probably want to end up with a frozen ATPL, so the route would be an ICAO PPL, for example from the US (FAA), then groundschool for the JAA ATPL somewhere in Europe or the UK. If money is not an issue, there are integrated courses in some countries and you can also do the more expensive JAA PPL if it pleases you.

nibraska, you may want to check if the FAA flight tests really are easier. However, for your home country, the FAA licence is all you need.
