Hi there, I have a problem that I could't solve :ugh: and apear in the license test of my Country :rolleyes: anyone could help me to solve thanks

Calculate TAS, GS, MH, MT, TATºC WCA, Flying to 33.000 ft. with follow data IAS/CAS=240KTS, OAT=-46ºC,W/V=070/60KTS, VAR=-29ºE, TH=10º

THANKS A LOT

P.D. I Found the following

TAS= 2% CAS x ALTITUDE/1000 + CAS = 4.8*37+240= 417KTS

:ouch:

Its a CRP5 job! I don't have mine to hand so Ill try do it in my head...

TAS would be easy to work out using the ALT/Temp window. Getting TAS by looking at the number above the 240 on the inner scale. Its below 300kts so no need to worry about compressibility

MH - apply variation, variation east magnetic least.
GS and drift - you would work out on the reverse side using the wind data and your TAS.
MT - apply variation and drift.
WCA - is difference between MH and MT (or TH and TT).

I may have missed something out, Its been a good year since i've even looked at one of these. Even forgot half of the mnemonics. I'm sure some one will correct me if i've said something in the wrong order.
