Is there any truth to the rumour that the CEO of Brussels Airlines is leaving? Does anyone out there know if he jumped or was he pushed?

From to-day press release (in Dutch) on Luchtzak, it had been stated stated that he resigned as he disagrees with Mr Davignon.

1. I don't think so, at least for the company as negociations with Lufthansa are underway. Either joining Star Alliance or selling the assets to Lufthansa which was not the option of the former CEO.

2. He left Proximus, mobile operator of Belgacom group for Brussels Airways. Based on to-day information, it is likely that the current CEO of Belgacom would leave in six months time.

Second part of my answer, not being Aviation related, I hope that the moderator won't object, the more I joined yesterday. Otherwise, mod will be free to delete item 2.
