Its funny how these companies in countries boast about growth and the need for pilots and yet they treat them like crap. But I guess in China you can almost expect this.

Yes.....**** happens overhere. But fortunately expat pilots are safe from being hurt, since their licence are not sponsored by the airlines like those locals.
