I agree, a little basic and a little bit too 'rosy' for my liking. However, its not for me, it for the wider 'Joe'.

With that in mind episode 1 was a good start showing the many and varied aspects of life in the Service.

I note that all of the pilots that were interviewed were RN (except for IV Sqns Boss - he was probably told to!). What's going on there? I suppose the RN do need the press a little more than their light blue 'sisters'. After all, that other programme that's on at the moment, 'Warship' just portrays the RN as a bunch of P*ss Heads sailing around in a rusty old half working radar return.

So come on, why no IV Sqn pilots being interviewed?
