Hi,

Can anybody suggest a good reasonably priced Flight School in SA for a PPL? Cape Town would be preferrable.

I see that some schools are offering PPL's on Jabiru's. Would that be worth taking a look at?

Thanks.

Perhaps the wrong forum for this, however I was recently down in SA to hour build at Babcock CFA, Grand Central, Jo'Burg. Had an excellent experience - plenty of cheap but well maintained 172's and a very organized operation. Shame they don't have JAA approval for CPL training.

Hi

I have done my training with Eagle Flight Academy, Northern Cape.
I am from Switzerland and enjoyed especially this school, after doing some training at other schools in South Africa.

I enjoyed the quite area and the familiar atmosphere on this farming area.

This might be a trial for someone looking for a flight school with very quite environment but also close to all relevant international aerodromes like Johannesburg, Pilanesburg, Mafikeng, Upington and Bloemfontein.

Happy landings.
