Does anyone have any information on Air China`s Captain/Cruise Captain situation for 744. Currently flying 744 for another racket in Asia and have been used to the circus music in Taiwan. I heard there are very few expats and things may be a little barbaric but the pay is allright, 13k for skippers. How is Bejing, aside from being poluted etc. Interview process etc. Can a brother survive for a few years.
H:ooh:

Al G,

Why would you want to leave EY? You just received a 4% payrise.

Yeah right and no life, inflation at 12 to1 5%, accomodation nightmare, no decent medical, no pension, no respect, no roster stability...you name it

Add a huge amount of lies and of insulting behavious from management

Al, same in CCA, except the Chinese are too kind to insult you on purpose, they just dont understand that they cannot treat you as a local (i.e. lousy hotels, noodles only, roster out of PEK etc). If you are really patient, it is indeed a fine job, if not you will soon be doing a split-S ...
