hello all - first post .... I hope this question is allowed.

I saw a french Mirage flying up Tummel Valley Perthshire last week - I am aware only three French squadrons are flying the remaining aircraft.

Would anyone know where this came from ? is it privatly owned maybe ? (there are some rich folk up there with you Mrs Rowling !!!!)

thanks - great forum.

But unusually there was a delta with big tanks doing an overshoot at Toulouse @ 11:22 today with LOTS of unneccessary high velocity noise and fairly keen manouv before pissing off north again.

First time I have seen a F FJ at toulouse in 2 years.................:suspect:

But it was NICE to see the darkside................;:E

French Air Force Mirage (Mirage F.1s and Mirage 2000s) were in the UK on exercise up until the 2nd May.

Exercise Joint Warrior 081 - 19 Apr - 02 May

Probably form one of the French squadrons that have frequented Kinloss and Lossie recently for Joint Warrior
