No idea, but if you do try it, report back (I'm interested) :8

OTOH, two people and one bike? Riding on the handlebar job or what? :confused:

I have jammed two bikes in the back of a C172 and one in the back of a C140.

Yeah, and you can even fit two bikes in there if you are creative.

Dont forget to restrain the cargo!

Remember to note total weight!!! You don't want to fly overweight! :ok:

Success!

(2 people and one bike because a friend had gone on a cycling trip and needed to be picked up)

Had to take both wheels off, but it fit just fine, with plenty of other stuff. I don't think we could have had any passengers in the back seats through. Wrap the frame in a blanket to protect the interior, and bring bungee cords to tie it all down.

MAUW not an issue unless the two POB are very portly indeed.

After removing the wheels, you can also remove the pedal cranks and handlebar stem -- even the fork and seat depending upon available tools, skills and necessity.

When driving a taxi in my uni days, I would bike down to the garage, take off the wheels and put the bike in the trunk. I learned the hard way that a blanket between the wheels and frame would have protected the paint job:{
