Did someone say somethinmg about the calibre of news reports?
The story below is interesting enough in itself, about which we seem to have heard nought???
<H2>Chopper crash on the Gibb

One hundred and seventy cyclists involved in a charity bicycle ride across the famed Gibb River Road in the Kimberley's have inadvertently become involved in some very real-life outback drama.
As the cyclists approached their overnight stop at the remote Imintje community about 230 kilometres north east of Derby, a chopper carrying four kimberley locals crash landed
ABC Kimberley rural reporter Matt Brann who was out there covering the cycling adventure, says when he arrived at Imintje about midday yesterday, it was a chaotic scene.
"There was a helicopter crash literally just one hundred and fifty metres from the community store.
"The four people involved, the one bloke the pilot was really badly injured. Here's down in Perth now and the report this morning is he's stable. The whole time he was here, he was layed out on a back of a ute and he couldn't feel his legs.
"The bush nurses though they were just fantastic, they looked after him.
"The other two people they layed them out the back, they had some pretty bad back injuries and the fourth lady had a few cuts and grazes but pretty shaken up as you could imagine.
"It's a bit of a solemn feeling this morning, I think people are still in shock and can't believe what happened."
The cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.
As far as the Bike ride is concerned, Matt says the 170 riders are a mix of the superfit and the crazy and will raise thousands of dollars for charities along the way.
"A lot of money is going towards police legacy and then every group is raising money for another charity...it's over five days and it's a lot of fun and what better road to do it on."
