Maldivian Air Taxis

Hi All.

Looking for some info on Maldivian Air taxis. I've done a search but its all out of date. Can somebody tell me how much those FOs and Captains are on anually? How hard do they work? Do they pay and bond for non type rated pilots?

Its a float op, with a good reputation, however expect to work hard, and be paid in USD at a similar exchange to the AUD. Better money and opportunity in Australia, unless you want to fly the twin otter in the Maldives. Great job, good people. With the current oz environment, think carefully about being out of the loop when jobs are abundant here. Trust me its a challenge gettin back home.

Hey what are your initials? Were you at MAT or TMA?

If you did work there it sounds like you are not there anymore? Do you miss the flying (not living in Male)??
