Anyone know of a good supplier of pilots shirts?

I bought some recently that had a shape of a tent, and a really strange collar that almost doubled up on itself at the button.
Very cheap and nasty from a major pilot supplier in the UK.

Also I need a new set of epaulettes as newly promoted. However the price is huge.

Any suggestions?

Search on t'internet for OLYMP pilots shirts. They are slightly more expensive but they really are worth it.

Any luck with a better fitting shirt? Mine all fit like bin liners.

:hmm:

Sartorial elegance is to be encouraged.

You could try these two websites. It will not be quite the same as made to measure. Always was a problem finding shirts with deep enough tails or long enough sleeves.

WENSUM (http://www.wensumthecollection.co.uk/Pilots.html)

Van Heusen Pilot Shirts (http://www.marvgolden.com/pro-pilots/shirt-ties-epaulets.htm)

Don't forget to keep the shoes nice and shiny!

Wouldn't waste your money on a Wensum shirt. They are our company supplier, and whilst they aren't the cheapest and nastiest of the various shirts available, it certainly isn't a quality product.

Agree about the Wensum product. The shirts are OK but after just 6 months my trousers are all bobbley and horrid!

Ditto with Wensum, British Airways shirts used to be very good, not sure if they supply outsiders anymore...
