Anyone know anything about the strip at Bodiam?

A few mates landed there about 10 years ago, but I wasn't aware there was a strip there. They just used a field with the owners permission.:ok:

I'll make some enquiries

Thanks mate. I watched a three man formation land there on Sat morning as I was nearby. Just didn't have time to go and have a closer look at that time.

Where's Bodium?

The correct spelling is Bodiam, which is in East Sussex. The National Trust owns Bodiam Castle (http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-vh/w-visits/w-findaplace/w-bodiamcastle.htm).

Are you sure you are not confusing it with the microlight strip at Northiam?

I don't think so. It looked like it was between the B2244 and the castle.

Do you have co-ordinates for Northiam?

Northiam on Google Maps (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=northiam&ie=UTF8&t=h&ll=51.003953,0.621135&spn=0.00613,0.014591&z=16&iwloc=addr)

Why is the time on the L showing Pacific time?

Thanks for that link. It is definately not there, too far over from where I seen them land.

Possibly just a private field with permission to land there as mentioned above.
