Hello,
I am looking to join the RAF as a pilot but am not sure how to go about it in a sense; I have been advised that getting a degree is the best way in, and not many applicants without degrees are accepted.
Anyone have any comments on this?
Thanks.

If not, that probably doesn't bode well. ;)

As pointed out, a massive 'sticky' thread at the top of the mil forum concerning all this:ugh:

Speaking of that, it could do with a trim.

Seeing as there doesn't seem to be any commited moderators I should...

RAFEmployee,

I actually started to index the sticky a couple of months or so back. It's a work in progress and believe me, it's a bohemoth of a job! A good 80% of the posts are uncategorizable! I think it needs a sub-section for posts along the lines of "I agree with the previous poster"

For an example of how I think it should be, look at the FAQ in the flight testing forum.
