Russia is hoping to get back into the commercial airline game with a test flight of the new Superjet 100.
Sukhoi, the country's largest warplane maker, has been developing the new jet in collaboration with US manufacturer Boeing for nearly a decade.
A source at United Aviation Corporate, the parent company of Sukhoi, says the plane will be tested within the next few weeks.
