Sad that this is what's become of what was once a country boasting the highest level of literacy in Africa. Viva la revolucion....

A report of such illiteracy and incompetence will surely go down as a "great" in the the anals of journalism...

"...anals of journalism...

Excuse me while I take a moment to try and stop rolling on the floor laughing... I don't know who's worse, you or the Zim journalist writing about the 'Beach'.

Glad to see that FVHA fire and rescue services have learnt from our incident three years ago and speeded up their response time - useless plonkers!!!

In our case our pax buses and steps beat the fire dept to the aircraft by 20 minutes!! Zim CAA said that there was "a communication problem between the a/c and the tower" - What will be the excuse this time?

The only comm problem there was that the crew were the only ones who could speak proper english:}

ZS-LYA.. by the looks of it, the fire seems to have caused some expensive/terminal? damage.

If it is the same King Air I have heard about this is the second serious incident in twelve months. Apparently flown by a part timer .. :=
