An ex-RAF (parachute packer) sent me this picture - anyone have an idea of the story behind it?

I know that the Typhoon took part in the RAF anniversary fly-pasts this month, but pics I can find of that have the fighters in regular "livery"

Any ideas? Or has Someone been playing with PaintShop again ;)

Its a bloody good effort - although the white letters on the fin merging with the white stripe are slightly odd, as is the overall matt finish - a new 'arrows idea or to avoid the 'reflection' problem you would get having photoshoped with gloss? :ok: Black fouling aft of intake looks realistic enough... I don't know, with 232 of the buggers they need to do something with them ;)

Yeah - that Typhoon is definitely a photo-shop job, however what about the one below, apparently with budget constraints this is the way ahead - an armorer told me....

That Tiffie looks rather good.

I guess the missiles could be used for getting rid of people who fly into their airspace during a display. :E

I agree; great 'photoshop' redesign of something that will never happen... bloody accountants; they're responsible for the demise of... well; everything really!

As a Yorkshire border-man, my mother used to say... live in Hope; die in Edale!

Anyone been to Edale recently? You should see the luxury country residences that the Manchester commuters have made out of the barn conversions... a round trip to Tesco's by train... who cares?

My Great Grandfather owned one of those and he was holed-up for the winter in Edale and had to slaughter a sheep or a couple of pigs to survive... haven't times changed?
