Nice vid. How often is the lowlevel route used? Looks like a great place to watch.

Hi Mark,

I recently added your first video to this forum as I was amazed. I added the title RAF PR potential which was enjoyed by many. It has also been on looked by others, however, obviously not to far because no one can do that without your permission. Your name was also added to the post.

Good stuff, Keep it up.

Mark,

Excellent stuff. Have the RAF offered you a job in PR yet?

Very nice gray-scale still of the Hawk and winter backdrop.

Did anyone else see the F-15 near the 3 minute mark - and ask: Why did he bother???!!!

....Buddy of mine tells me that USAF are no longer allowed below 1000'agl unless 'absolutely necessary'....

Yesterday (22nd) was an ace day for low flying, Lots of varied traffic in the mid Wales area but as previously suggested the Americans (F-16's) stayed V high and just seemed to be flying around in circles!!

Come on down chaps! The weeds are fine!

Having said that they could have been Dutch I suppose?:oh:

Jimgriff your F16's were the Norwegians out of Leeming, the GR4's this morning were lower :)

Great vid, I really must get up there with my box brownie someday.

Mark, is there a version of the video without the music? Or is it difficult to get good audio what with the wind blowing on the mic?

Anyone any idea why this outmoded (but spectacular) tactic is still practised? The moment somebody starts shooting back we have to add 15000 feet!

Seemed to work at RED FLAG last autumn while everyone else was in the 20's getting shot by GBAD and Red Air.

Only outmoded against certain threats. Training in the LL environment also helps to "load up" studes and get them working harder. It's quite fun too.

Like the vid - good to see you got the queen of the skies in at the end there! ;)
