Spoof low mountain in cockpit window photo wanted

Morning all

I'll shortly be delivering a lesson on the importance of maintaining correct altimeter settings.

I want a humourous opening slide. I seem to recall seeing a photo doing the rounds on the web of the view into an airliner flightdeck from the cabin with a mountain or cliff face filling the window, such that an impact is imminent. The crew are turned round facing the cabin and have a speech bubble type caption along the lines of everything is fine.

I can't remember where I have seen this. Perhaps it was one of the classic airplane movies. If anyone knows where I can find it I would be really pleased if they could post a link, or to a similar image.

Some years ago, was working at a steel mill in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela. At the weekend, got a flight up to the Angel Falls (the 1 km freefall that they base jump off) in an ancient DC-3.

To see the Angel Falls, the DC-3 enters a huge horse-shoe shaped mountain valley - it's unable to climb out over the sides, so once you enter you truly are commited to fly a constant banking turn to exit.

Anyway, there you are rattling along with the rock face maybe 100-150' from the wing-tip when....... YOU GO INTO CLOUD!!!!! The only thing I could think was that there was a sheer cliff about 0.003 of a second away from us. That and the US co-pilot's pre-flight comment that 'that rock face doesn't move for anybody!' The Capt. was more reassuring - at about 80-years old he looked like he'd flown it a few times. We made it of course. But those 5 seconds in the cloud felt more like 5 minutes....

And no, I forgot to take a bloody photo!!!:ugh:

I've done that flight in a DC3 to Angel Falls, although we didn't get anywhere near due to cloud. I seem to recall reading a couple of years ago that it had crashed killing all on board during one of these flights? Anyone remember?
