Hello i hope you're all good.

So i'm nearly 17 and have always loved aviation and everything that surrounds it, i bore the hell out of my friends and family every single day.

My absolute ideal job (as i'm sure is the case with many on this topic) is to become a Commercial Pilot, i know that to fulfill this dream would be hard enough but here's my added handicaps..

I'm nearly 17 and have, as of yet, no physical flying time under my belt.
And...because of complications earlier in my life and some sheer laziness, only entered college with 5 GCSE's. However this year after a stern talking to and a bit of growing up, i managed to gain another (Maths) and have been studying everything flight related in my spare time for overa year now.

Some more bad news is that i do not (again, as of yet)have a decent science grade:=.

I'm sure most of you will bethinking this guy's got no chance and you know more than me but what i can say is that over the last 3 or 4 years i have really grown up and began taking education far more seriously and thinking of performing exam re-sits and ( i know this sounds big headed) but once i put my head into something i usually come away with the rewards.

Just wondering if there was anyone on here that may have some inspiration for me, anyone know a commercial pilot that has come a long way since his early days?

Thanks

A pilot that post on this forum, take a look;

If you think your current education might get in the way read this thread also:

If you think you can physically and mentally get a fATPL then the link below might be of interest to you:

Take a trip down to your local flying club and have a chat with a few people. At your flying club there will be instructors that will offer you loads of advise.

Good luck with it all.
